Before I Sleep...

Just in time I reached there
Still the raindrops were on the windows
The logs were burning
but not as red as before..
The wind was empty..
But I felt too heavy..
I saw her in the candle light
but she looked like a shadow
I tried to speak but..
Caught somewhere..
She was as pleasant as a new flower
As innocent as a new born..
I tried to smile a little
But failed with something else

.........
.........

Life was just a mystery for me..
not now, but always..
Still I can see the red logs
and the candle light..
I could see all these once more
Before I sleep for the last time...
